Stunning 19th Century English Portrait of a Gentleman Dated 1883

An absolutely fabulous 19th century English portrait of a gentleman in a gilt frame. This portrait is an exceptional size being close to 5ft high and very well painted. Indistinctly signed and dated 1883. There is a Frost & Reed gallery label on the rear and an old repair to the left of the man's arm. The frame has some minor losses. The overall look of this portrait is wonderful and it would fit perfectly in to a grand entrance hall, hallway or large living room.
