Signed & Dated Full Length Portrait of a Gentleman

A fabulous full length portrait of a gentleman in later gilt frame. Signed Edwin Williams (1882-1881) and dated 1851. The size and quality of this painting are exceptional. Overall height (inc frame) being 1.5m. The colours are excellent including the crimson on the subjects waistcoat and the blue eyes, giving this decorative appeal. There is an obvious, old repair to the canvas to the right of the gentleman head.
