Parquetry Commode with Marquetry Inlay, Ormolu Mounts and Marble Top

This is a lovely French antique parquetry inlaid commode in excellent condition with original marble top. Three drawers with original handles and ormolu decoration. Made around 1920 in Louis XVI style, the carcass is oak with parquetry veneer. The size and quality of this commode are outstanding. This is a lovely light colour and would make a fabulous piece of bedroom furniture in contemporary and traditional styles.
