Large pair of 19th Century, buff terracotta garden urns by James Pulham of Broxbourne.
James Pulham & Son was one of the most important landscape design firms, operating between 1845 and 1949. They received royal warrants for their work on lakes at both the Sandringham Estate and Buckingham Palace.
These urns are of a superb form and would sit perfectly indoors or outside.
Please note, the socles are not original. They are a later replacement. James Pulham Urns are stamped on socles and so the stamps are missing. The urns are however 100% genuine original James Pulham examples.
