Large Early 19th Century Mixed Hardwood Dining Table. Seats 10.

Sold
An absolutely fabulous early 19th (or possibly late 18th century) dining table measuring over 7 1/2 feet in length. This table would sit up to 10 people. The top is made of two different timbers, all aged beautifully to give a lovely patina. There are plenty of old spills and stains which only add to the look of this wonderful table. In my opinion, the top is Southern European - most probably either Spanish or Portuguese. The base I believe to be 'estate made' in England at some point during the 19th century. Overall, the table is in country house condition with plenty signs of age. Structurally it is very solid.
