19th Century Portrait of a Young Gentleman in Gilt Frame

A very attractive 19th century (c1860) portrait of a young gentleman in a gilt frame. The quality of this portrait is exceptional and the canvas is in excellent condition. This portrait is a good size being 93cm high (including frame). The young man is posing with his hand inside his jacket which used to represent leadership and so it is safe to assume the sitter was someone of influence or authority in the 19th century. The frame is later and the canvas has been recovered at the back. One of four from a private collection.
